We are Linda and Patrick Mullen.  Do you believe in love on the internet or that you can fall in love with someone without ever having met them in person?  We sure didn't; we met online on a channel called #ircnewbies on the undernet in April of 1996 and hit it off instantly.  Patrick flew me to South Africa in January of 1997 and we had the best time ever.  In fact, while I was there, people thought that we were on our honeymoon so much so that upon my return to Montreal he proposed to me.  We married July 11th, 1997 in Laval Quebec Canada and moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba in July 2001 where we have been living ever since. Croyez-vous pouvoir tomber en amour avec quelqu'un que vous n'avez rencontré que sur l'internet? A l'époque, nous n'y croyons pas. Nous nous sommes rencontrés sur un canal nommé #ircnewbies sur l'undernet, et cela a cliqué dès le début.  Patrick m'a invité en Afrique du Sud en jan. de 97 et ce temps a été précieux, tellement qu'à mon retour à Montréal, Patrick m'a demandé en mariage.  Nous nous sommes mariés le 11 juillet 1997 à Laval Québec Canada et nous avons déménagés a Winnipeg Manitoba en juillet 2001.
