As hobbies, other than QUILTING, I love beanie babies, I also enjoy collecting UNC world banknotes. My first love was collecting coins from Canada, I've been collecting coins since I was 11. About 20 years ago, I found some old banknotes that my mother had and eventually became a member of the INTERNATIONAL BANK NOTE SOCIETY which is very helpful for collectors. You meet interesting people there as well. As a matter of fact, two of the people that have helped my collection along are now on the internet such as Denise who was living in the Isle of Man and I felt so privileged that she wrote back to me and shared some of her sought after banknotes as well as Christof Zellweger who's helped me quite a bit with my collection. |

My name is Linda.. I'm 44 years old, happily married to a British guy I just love his accent (he could read the phone book to me and I wouldn't get bored at all. I have two wonderful children from a prior marriage, and their names are Valérie (she's 19 and lives in Montreal) and Jonathan (he's 13). I discovered IRC (Internet Relay Chat) more than nine years ago, and I've met some very friendly people there . After our move to Winnipeg Manitoba in July of 2001, I discoved quilting by sheer accident, you see, I went into a quilting store looking for fabric to make some clothes for a few teddy bears that I'd just made. Well after I saw the quilts there I was hooked. Thu the Manitoba Prairie Quilters, I've met probably the friendliest people you'd ever want to meet. I am a member of the Aurora Satellite group. Below are a few of my projects including Log Cabins, Bargellos, one of my antique sewing machines, etc. If you want a quilt made, email me for more information on what I can do for you. |
